Submittal Generator Changes Made By User Demand!

A new version of the Submittal Generator has been released.  A number of small issues have been addressed.

Below are the main functionality improvements included in this release:

• Per user request, the size of the favorite section has been decreased on the “Find Spec Sheet” page. Making this change allows for the Base Document section to be larger, which is used on a more frequent basis.

• When importing a schedule, lines (and line type) will now be imported into Submittal Generator in the order they are shown in Schedule Builder. Previously it imported alphabetically by line type since that used to be how Schedule Builder automatically sorted.

• When pushing a line from the Project Configurator into a submittal, the source type will now read as “CONFIGURATOR”, and the Source # field will display the Project #. This is shown on the submittal, the corresponding Submittal tab on the project, and on the Submittal Generator dashboard.

• The Contact association process has been improved – both when building a package and sending submittal package emails.   Contact options in “Package Settings” now displays all the associated Project Container contacts, as does the “Submitted Generated” email dialogue window. This list now pulls from the current contacts associated on the project and will update if contacts are added or removed.  If any contacts are selected in “Package Settings” those will default as checked in the “Submittal Generated” email dialogue as well.  You can then easily press the “Add Contact as Recipient” button to get them into the correct Delivery Options section, and further customize your recipient list if needed.
