New CSV Quote Import/Export Option (2/13/24) 

As part of our commitment to expand importing and exporting options from Agile Quotes, a new CSV format is now available within the Quote Client. This is currently limited to the same quote line and header fields available in the XML format. 

In a future release, we will be adding import templates for all the formats to the Quote Dashboard. In the meantime, we recommend doing an export first and saving it as a template file because the first row expects specific column names for the import mapping to work correctly.

When importing to an existing quote, all lines in the CSV file with be appended to the end of the quote with the Line #s populating in sequential order; original lines and Line #s will remain unchanged.  

Be aware that the following fields will not be captured on the import:

2. Quote # 
3. Version 
4. Quote Type 
5. Line # 
6. Parent Line # 
7. Description 
8. Price App 
9. Config Date 
10. Config ID 
11. Config Type 
12. Photometry ID 

Please note that this is not available for Holophane quotes.
