Holophane AASHTO Release To Product Configurator (7/22/24)

We have added the ability to select AASHTO or non-AASHTO during the wind loading step in the Product Configurator.

This functionality is only for Holophane vendor sourced poles and the series include RTA, RTS, SSA, SSS, FRSA, FRSS, FRTF, FRTFDB.

The non-AASHTO weight and EPA limits are derived by the pole vendors per their own calculations and safety factors.

The AASHTO weight and EPA limits are calculated per the AASHTO standard and are typically more conservative.

We currently have aligned all Holophane pole series to use AASHTO 2013 (except Fiberglass FRTF and FRTFDB which use AASHTO 2015).

This functionality will be available on both the Preliminary Wind Check and the full Configure Assembly mode.

The AASHTO selection will also be referenced on the Submittal drawings in the Windload section shown below:
