Submittal Generator Editor Updates (2/10/25)

Our new editor is live. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work through a few items. Our new editor is essential and will ensure better performance and mitigate any security concerns. Our previous editor was significantly outdated and no longer supported.

Here are some updates since the release:

Form Fields are editable!

Whiteout functionality can be accomplished in a few ways in our new editor. You can use freeform draw or highlight with white, any shape with white border and infill, or text redaction with white.

Multiple Annotations! Copy and paste functionality is live (Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V). Needing to use the same rectangle repeatedly on your spec sheet? You can now copy and paste the shape! Simply Ctrl + C to copy and Ctrl + V to paste the shape or any annotation you need.

Highlight We are working on updates to enhance the highlighting functionality to be easier to use and less sensitive.

Error Generating Package This is a system timeout error occurring sporadically and is our highest priority.

Previously Marked Up Spec Sheets We are currently developing a new feature to reset previously marked-up documents. Due to the outdated nature of the previous editor, existing markups cannot be edited in the new editor. We are working on an alternative solution to include a reset button that will remove all previous markups. This will eliminate the need to clear and reuploaded the document.

Undo & Redo We have added undo and redo options in the right toolbar. You can also Ctrl + Z to undo and Ctrl + shift + Z to redo. Ctrl + X will cut and you can select the annotation and delete to remove items.
