Today’s Enhancements: Project Container

The enhancements just keep on coming! Today’s enhancement….Project Container. Check it out.

  • Recent and Favorites now in Project Container!
  • You can now send Follow Up Notes immediately from Project Container. Look for this functionality to be available for Orders, Quotes, Payments, Invoices, and RFD soon.
  • A new My Projects view has been created just for you!
  • Duplicate project check during Save As New
  • New field to enter the National Account Store #

Recent Projects and Favorites

You now have the ability to view recent and favorite projects from Project Container dashboard. Click on Recents & Favorites from the Search drop down to view a rolling list of the last Projects you have opened.

You can also set favorites by clicking on the star. This will “pin” the Project to the recent list until the star is clicked again.

Follow Up – Send Now

You now have the option to send a follow-up email immediately instead of waiting for it to be sent during one of the allotted send times. Just set the Follow-up date to today’s date then click Send Now from the Email (EST) drop down. This functionality is only available for Project Container, but will be available in Quotes, Orders, Payments, Invoices, RFD and Invoices soon.

My Projects View

Tired of having to filter through everyone else’s projects to find yours? Well now you don’t have to! A new view has been created just for you. The new My Projects view will filter to projects where you are the Follow-up Sales Person, Quote Person, Additional Quote Person, Project Manager, Rep Contact or the person who entered the project.

Duplicate Project Check During Save As New

We added another check during the Save As New process to prevent duplicate projects! Once you have entered the Job Name, selected the tabs to copy and click Next, agile will check for duplicate projects. You can then select a project from the list to stop the Save as New process, or click next to continue to create a new project.

National Account Store # Field

The Store # field has been added to the Elements section of the General Tab in Project Container for you to enter the National Account store #. You can also search projects by this field.

We are on a roll making enhancements to agile!  Check out these new features in Project Container:

  • Assignment of more than one Follow-Up Salesperson: You now have the ability to assign more than one salesperson as the follow-up salesperson on a project.
  • Project Container Read Only Role:  Do you have people in your agency who just need visibility of jobs?  There is now a new role called Project Container – Read Only that can be assigned to users who only need the ability to view Project Container information with no editing capability.
  • Job Alias Visibility:  You can now hover the cursor over the job name field on the dashboard to quickly view the job aliases assigned to a Project Container. This will also help clarify search results when projects with job aliases are returned.
  • Project Search Change: We addressed your request to display your selections in the various search boxes versus displaying ‘Select One’.  You will now see your selection displayed in the box and if there are multiple selections, you will see ‘multiple’ displayed in the box.

Performance Improvement – Changes to agile dashboard functionality regarding documents

Over the past several months, we have taken a focused look at the agile applications and have been making changes to optimize the code and server load to provide an improved user experience. On January 24, 2018, we deployed an updated version of Order Management that significantly improved the time it took to open a new hold order and edit the header by approximately 50%.
