We hope your customers are becoming more comfortable with the functionality of the new Acuity Distributor Center Order Status and E-Solutions. We have listened to our distributor’s feedback and continue to adjust the system to provide an optimum experience.

Here are some of the changes that have already been made and/or will be available next week.

• Improvements to Tracking Shipments
• Improvements to the Order Status Report including Export to Excel and Save as PDF
• Easier Printing
• Cancelled Lines Visibility
• Improved Invoice Identification

Improvements to Tracking Shipments

• To more quickly track the shipment of a specific line on an order, we have added the shipment number under the closed box icon to indicate the shipment the line was included on. This is also a hyperlink allowing you to quickly jump to the specific shipment so you can track it.

• We added a new user preference on the settings tab that will allow you to set the “ Jump to Shipments” preference ON for fully shipped orders. When you select a fully shipped order from the order list, it will go directly to the shipments tab. If this preference is OFF, you will continue to go first to the lines tab.

 

• We labeled shipments more boldly on the shipments tab and have differentiated the unshipped lines so it is clear which lines have not shipped.

 

 

 

 

Improvements to the Order Status Report

• We modified the Order Status Report to remove any reference to status on ordered as lines when there are multiple breakouts since each breakout line has a status of its own

 

• You now have the ability to Export the Order Status Report to Excel.

 

• You now have the ability to download a PDF version of the order status document so that you can attach it to an email for customers who require PDFs.

 

 

• Make note however that the PDF is a snapshot of the status whereas if you use the email link function to send an order status report to a customer, anytime that customer views the status link, they will get up to date information as the status changes

 

Easier Printing

• Documents (credit memos, invoices, packing slips and order status report) will now display in

• a PDF viewer which will allow you to print right from that screen with the document displayed.

 

Cancelled Lines Visibility

• In addition to the cancelled icon next to a line that was cancelled, we also strike through the line information indicating more clearly that the line was cancelled.

Improved Invoice Identification

• We added the invoice number to the documents list on the shipments and the documents tab so that you can easily identify specific invoices without having to open them.
