Claim Request Application Now Available!

This new capability provides greater efficiency for agency personnel to request a claim through the selection of information from pull down fields and data from the order history.  The RFC contains all of the key  information the Claim Owner must have to start the claim process and eliminates much wasted back and forth time when the information is incomplete.  In addition, a new agency dashboard provides status for all Request for Claims (RFCs) and eliminates today’s uncertainty on the status of a claim request.  When a Claim is created (accepted) by the Claim Owner, the claim number is sent back to the agency in an e-mail, highlighting key information and updated on agent’s dashboard.  The email will serve as the anchor email for further communication if necessary.

We expect this new capability will reduce the customer’s time for resolution.  Implementation is on Monday, June 16th for all claims handled by Regional Post Sales and will be the only method for providing initial information for opening a claim.

The information below provides instructions as to how to navigate to the dashboard and help document.

  1. I think this new tool will be a wonderful improvement!
I’d like to suggest the ability to ‘drag and drop’ attachments into the claim request form. Just like it’s done in the project container.

    Thanks

  2. Another thing…is there no way to edit the comments after you hit the green check mark? I put in some info that I would like to change but I don’t think I can.
If I should direct my comments/questions to someone else, let me know. 🙂

    1. For this initial release, we did not include that feature. However, your request is something we are considering for a future enhancement. Thanks!
