Introducing agile Mobile!

agile Mobile is an HTML5 website that you can access on your phones and other mobile devices.  Currently it supports viewing accounts and contacts that you have created in Contact Management.  You can quickly get directions to an address, call or email contacts, and view high level information for an account’s associated projects and orders.  You can also view documents that have been stored on an account or contact.

Future phases will include detailed project and order visibility, as well as a way to search for products.  This website will eventually replace the agile Rep application that is available on Apple devices.

To begin using the tool, login at agilemobile.acuitybrands.com with your existing agile user name and password.

Below is a training video that covers the basics of the tool, as well as a link on how to create a home screen shortcut on your device.

New Version of agile Rep Available for Download…

A new version of agile Rep is available for download and includes a couple of maintenance items to provide a better experience.  Here are the details:

  • We have addressed the issues that were causing projects to lock or the app to crash when adding  customers to projects
  • For those of you using IOS 6.0, we have addressed the device rotation issue that was introduced with that version of the operating system
  • Text is now properly cased (i.e. when you type in a city, the first letter will be capitalized)
  • We have addressed the issue where submittals were not visible as a project document

agile Rep Enhancements…

Check the app store for an agile Rep update!  Here’s what’s new:

  • We have provided the ability to add or update the Project Manager on a Project
  • When viewing “My Projects” it will now retrieve projects where the logged on user is the Project Manager (in addition to the Quote Person, Follow Up Salesperson or the Rep Contact for a customer associated to the project)
  • We have updated the Specification Registration portion of the Project Container to match agile in preparation for the upcoming announcement of the new Specification Registration capabilities

New agile Rep Version Available for Download

A new version of agile Rep is available for download and contains some great enhancements many of you have asked for!

  • Email Upload from the Project which auto uploads an email launched from a project
  • New Searches added:
    • ALL Projects (regardless of status), and Projects By Status (Previously Bid, To be Bid, No Bid Date or ALL)
    • MY Project Search now includes projects where you are the Follow Up Sales Person, Quote Person, Additional Quote Person, Project Manager, or Rep Contact associated to a customer on the project
    • New MY Orders search to allow you to search for orders where you are assigned as the Project Manager
  • New visibility of additional fields such as Additional Quote and Store # on a project and Project Manager on the Order Header Tab
