New submittal and order processing guidelines for Architectural brand orders!

Beginning on Wednesday 10/24/18, all orders placed for Peerless, Mark, Hydrel, Grad and Healthcare will be evaluated by the system to determine if a review is required before beginning production. This evaluation will identify any architectural linear lines on the order and determine if they meet the new submittal governance criteria. This new process will also eliminate the need for the Peerless Submittals Required or Winona Linear Submittals Required instruction to be applied to your orders. The MARK hold will also no longer be applied to all Mark Lighting orders.

Order lines that are entered for non-linear architectural product with clean nomenclature will no longer be held with the linear lines and should activate upon order placement with Acuity.

The new submittal governance criteria are below and will be used to determine if the linear lines need to be placed on a hold for review by Acuity.

  • Order contains Architectural Review Requested instruction- This instruction can be applied to any order containing architectural lines and will trigger the order to be held for evaluation.

OR

  • Order that contains over $50K of architectural linear product
  • OR
  • Order for architectural brands that contains RFD #

OR

  • Order that contains specific nomenclature options:
    • Patterns or configurations such as rectangles, L’s and square patterns or vertical to horizontal transitions.
    • Multiple control zones
    • Multiple switching circuits
    • Integral emergency battery or emergency circuits

Acuity will continue to provide submittals whenever requested, regardless of the new submittal governance criteria. Please use the RFA-Submittal tool to enter your submittal request prior to order placement. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to your ATS manager for assistance.
