Pallet Qty and Estimated Pallets are now available in agile Quotes

We have heard from a lot of Distributors that they would like to be able to estimate the # of pallets they will be receiving. To help communicate Pallet Qty and Estimated Pallets, we have created a new agile Quote feature.  In the Quote application, you can now add Pallet Qty to your quote line view.  Additionally, there is a new print type called “Estimated Pallet Qty”. This PDF print out will display the estimated # of products for each Acuity line that fits on a pallet. We will then calculate the # of pallets for the quantity of products on the quote. This additional printout can be emailed to your customer to allow them to estimate Ship and Storage costs that they then charge their customers.  If we do not have a Pallet Quantity in our system and the quantity on the line is less than 8, the pallet quantity will default to 1.  If the quantity on the line is greater than 8 and we do not have a pallet quantity, “N/A” will display.

To Print the new Report

1) From within your quote click the print button

2) When the print dialog launches select Type of “Est Pallet Qty”

3) Select a Quoted To

5) Then Print, Send, or Preview

To Add the Column to your view

1) From within your quote go to the Lines if you are not already there.

2) Click in the Layout drop down and select “Create/Manage Layout”

3) Give your layout a name if you create a custom layout from scratch

4) In the available columns field locate “Qty/Pallet (est)”

5) Arrow over Pallet Qty to the Selected Columns field.  Arrange in the order you wish to see it.

6) Save your layout.
