Quote changes in preparation for new Agency Power BI Reporting

We are deploying a change to the quotes application that will allow you to mark additional quote versions as visible for our upcoming deployment of agency reporting.  The new Power BI reporting is scheduled for later this fiscal year.

 The Active version of a quote will continue to always be included in reports but you now have the option to include additional versions.

On the quote header, you will be able to check the Report box to designate which additional versions of a quote you would like to include.

 A good example of when this could be used is if the controls bill of material is on its own version while the lighting portion of the bill is on the active version. 

From any version of the quote, you can quickly see which versions you have marked by clicking into the version drop down.  If a version has the Report box selected you will see “RPT” to the far right near quote total.  You can toggle between the versions updating the Report flag as necessary. 

Another place to see which versions of a quote are included in reporting is on the project container Quote tab.  You will see we have added a new column called Report to indicate which versions have been manually selected to include in reports. To make any adjustments open the quote and select or de-select the Report box on the quote header

If you do not wish to utilize this feature no action is necessary.  Your quote reports will continue to only include the active version.
