Product Search Enhancements to the Cart (5/30/2024)
Recent enhancements to the Product Search application include the following:
- Program icons in the Cart – when customers add products to the cart for quoting and ordering, they will now see the program icon associated with the product, such as Contractor Select and Design Select. This visibility will reinforce Acuity’s programs to help drive adoption and usage.
- Pallet Qty in the Cart – Since customers often like to order products by the pallet load, we have added a Pallet Qty column to the cart. Customers can then make any necessary quantity adjustments prior to placing their order.
- Agent ability to View the Cart and Order Info screens – Since online ordering through ADC Product Search is a distributor-only feature, agents did not have visibility to the cart order info screens which made it difficult to answer questions about the feature. Now, agents can add products to the cart and view the Place Order screens similar to their customer’s experience (Notes: Place button is inactive for agents. Make sure to select a customer to see the Cart icon)
