Quote Standard Instructions and ADC Orders (8/13/24)

In agile Quote, when approving a customer’s Acuity Distributor Center (ADC) quote for converting to an order, please be aware that only Instruction 37 (Lump Sum) will appear on the ADC order.  All other Standard Instructions will not carry over to the ADC order.  Adding Standard Instructions that do not carry over to ADC orders may result in order processing and commission discrepancies. 

Going forward, Quote users will now see a warning when approving a customer’s quote for ADC order conversion if the quote contains a Standard Instruction that will not carry over to the ADC order.  This warning will appear when clicking the “Approved for Convert” checkbox under the ADC tab in Quote.

 If the quote contains a Standard Instruction that will not carry over to the ADC order, you can either:

  • Click the “Cancel” button from the warning message, then either adjust the Standard Instructions on the quote, or convert the quote for the distributor, or
  • Click the “OK” button from the warning message to proceed as is, if you are comfortable with the Standard Instructions not carrying over. Please note that this can affect order processing.
