Fantastic Additions to Order Management

Want to be able to customize the order status and view it from the dashboard? Or maybe you want to create an automatic follow-up on your Non-ABL orders? Or perhaps you want to attach hold order documents when printing an order confirmation? Now you can! These are just a few of the exciting additions we’ve made to the agile Order Management application in this latest release.

  • View a contact’s title when printing/sending printouts
  • Attached hold order documents to order confirmation printout
  • View the Extended Cost $ field on the Totals feature for Buy/Sell lines
  • Create an automatic follow-up note and email after a Non-ABL order placement
  • Associate the OM project manager to the Project Container project manager field if it’s blank
  • Select or enter a carrier on a Non-ABL shipment header
  • Add or select an additional order status (Service Status) that can be seen on the Dashboard

Find your Contact Quicker with the Title and Department Fields

To help you find the contact you are looking for when sending printouts from Order Management, we have included the Title and Department fields in the contacts field.

These values pull from Contact Management, so be sure to enter the values if you want to use this feature!

 

Attach Hold Order Documents to Order Printouts

On ABL and Non-ABL Order printouts, you can now choose to attach documents associated to the Hold Order along with your Order documents.

Extended Cost for Buy/Sell lines

On a Hold Order, you can now view the Extended Cost (Ext Cost $) in the Totals dialog box for your Non-ABL Buy/Sell lines.

Automatic Follow-up for your Non-ABL Orders

As part of the OM application preferences, we have added the ability to create a follow-up note for your Non-ABL order automatically.  You have the ability to customize how many days out you get the email after the order was placed (the email sends at 7am).

You can also view this follow-up on the order or within the Follow-up application.

 

Automatically Assign the OM Project Manager to the Project Container Project Manager

For an hold order associated to a project, if you select a Project Manager on your hold order, this value with automatically be applied to the Project Container Project Manager field if no manager currently exists.

Select or Enter a Carrier on Non-ABL Orders

Now available on the shipments tab for Non-ABL orders, you can select a carrier from the dropdown list or type in a carrier.  This will allow your Pro Number to find the appropriate site.

Add a Service Status and View it from the Dashboard

You can now select a Service Status on your order header.  This status is also available to view on the dashboard, by adding it to your current layout.

Administrators can update this list to include a custom selection. By default, this list includes Acknowledged and Scheduled, but those with Administrator privileges can add to this list using the Admin tool under Options.
