Important update regarding use of Hidden (HDN) lines in agile

Previously, if you had Hidden (HDN) lines on a quote, when you converted to a hold order those lines were automatically changed to Regular (REG) product lines. For those HDN lines that contained overage, if your agency did not edit or remove the lines or update the line categories to Overage (OVG) prior to final order conversion, the description on those lines could have potentially been printed on a non-ABL order document or shown via AcuityDistributorCenter.com’s Order Status if your agency had enabled this functionality for non-ABL manufacturers.  Please note that this issue did not pertain to ABL’s CIP program.

In an effort to protect your agency against accidently showing this type of information to your customers, we have made a change to the order conversion process. Beginning today, quotes containing HDN lines cannot be converted to a hold order and must be adjusted prior to conversion. If the HDN lines are no longer necessary, you can delete the lines. If the HDN lines contain product, then please change them to REG lines. If the HDN lines contain overage, you can either change the line categories to OVG or move the overage dollars to another line. Once all HDN lines have been classified as either products or overage, you can then convert your quote to a hold order.
