Changes to Holophane Project Container – Inactive Verticals Hidden and Est Project $ Field Now Required If No Quote Present

Today we are introducing a few changes to the fields on Holophane projects in Project Container.

The first change hides the inactive values from displaying in the corresponding “Vertical” dropdown.  The below is an example of a new project being created.  As you can see the inactive values are no longer shown.

If an existing project is opened that does have one of the inactive values, it will still display that value until changed and saved.  Once saved it will disappear and no longer be accessible in the dropdown.

If you quickly want to locate any projects that have these inactive values in the “Vertical” dropdown you can search for them in the “Project Search” dialogue.

The second change requires the “Est Project $” field to be populated if no value is present in the “Qte $” field.

In the example below, you will notice there isn’t a red asterisk next to the “Est. Project $” field since “Qte $” are present on this project.
