Product Configurator Updates

A new version of the Product Configurator has been released.  A number of small issues have been addressed, and some verbiage throughout the app has also been improved.

Below are the main functionality improvements included in this release:

  • A “Restore Default” option has been added to the Linear Layout window that will allow you to reset component changes previously made and saved, and to remove the APC# if one was previously listed.

  • The “Clear” functionality on the Configuration page has been improved when used on a linear series to retain the previously selected Linear options (i.e., emergency batteries, sensors, downlights). All other options will be reset.

  • For corporate users, we have also disabled the “Send To” and “Layout” functionality if an Independent Rep is selected in the dropdown when initially working in the tool. This is designed to prevent APC# creation and the pushing of lines to an agency project.  This same restriction does not apply currently when lines are passed into the tool from other applications such as Quotes or OM.
