Performance Improvement – Changes to agile dashboard functionality regarding documents
Over the past several months, we have taken a focused look at the agile applications and have been making changes to optimize the code and server load to provide an improved user experience. On January 24, 2018, we deployed an updated version of Order Management that significantly improved the time it took to open a new hold order and edit the header by approximately 50%.
Today, we have made another improvement to the Project Container, Quote and Order dashboard to remove icon from the column displaying if documents are associated. We determine that by removing this icon all users will benefit in a 30 to 50% improvement in dashboard loading times when viewing or searching on the dashboards of Project Container, Quotes and Order Management. All users would have to wait while the Dashboard loaded this column regardless of whether or not you actually used this icon to directly access documents.
You will still be able to view documents associated with the project, by simply opening the Project, Quote or Order folder and clicking on the documents tab.
