RFA Updates

We have made several updates to Request for Assistance. 

 We have adjusted the “When do you need this by?” question so that it first presents you with the estimated completion date based on the lead-time for that request type.  If the estimated completion is satisfactory you can select that as your need by date.  If it is not, then you can select a date in the “Custom Requested Date” field. 

For request types of Design -> Layout, BOM -> No Layout, BOM -> With Layout, BOM -> Budget, Submittal, Submittal -> One line diagram, and Post Installation -> Graphical Interface if the “Custom Requested Date” is less than the estimated completion date, then we will present you with a series of additional questions. The questions will appear on the same page under the heading “Enter Additional details for rush request”. 

Also for request types of Design -> Layout, BOM -> No Layout, BOM -> With Layout, BOM -> Budget, Submittal, Submittal -> One line diagram, a new product type of nLight Air has been added, to separate requests for nLight wired controls and wireless nLight Air. If a combination of wired and wireless controls are needed on a job, then both product lines can be checked.

For Post Installation -> Graphical Interface requests, a product selection screen has been added so you can now specify the specific type of graphical package(s) that need to be included in the requests.

We have also adjusted the questions on several request types.  The most notable being the addition of the“All BOM details per electrical set and/or specification” question.  It will appear on BOM and nLight requests.  If the answer to this question is yes, then the other questions below it will be disabled. If the answer is no, then the other questions can provide additional instruction beyond the uploaded documents.
