Agile OM update regarding Delivery Date calculation

Over the past several years we have heard increased feedback regarding orders with “On Site Date” or “Not Before Date” arriving on site sooner than the date specified on the order. Currently, delivery dates in the system are calculated based on the estimated transit time from our facilities to the customers’ address, excluding weekends and holidays.  Over this same timeframe an increased number of our carriers have begun operating 7 days a week.  Because our calculations were not including carriers operating over the weekends, the result would occasionally be delivering to the site sooner than the NB4 or On Site Date specified on your order.

In response, we have now updated our system calculation to account for carriers running 7 days a week.  Beginning on 10/16/19 we will begin counting weekends as working days in our calculations for delivery date. The updated calculation will better assure we’re meeting our customers’ On Site and NB4 date requirements and avoid delivering too early.  This change does not require you to do anything differently, however, we wanted to keep you informed and anticipate you’ll feel the improvement once implemented.
