Enhanced System Releasing Logic beginning Monday 11/11/19

In response to our agents’ overwhelming feedback around Acuity’s Fill rate needing improvement, we will pilot and closely monitor system releasing logic enhancements beginning November 11th.  

What does this mean for you? 

It means business as usual as it relates to order entry and order management.  There’s nothing you need to do differently to support this pilot.  However, you may notice shipment fill rate improvements per order level as we work to achieve better balance between consolidating “like-lead time order lines” while ensuring overall order flow is maintained. In addition, our Distributors may notice a slight reduction in quantity of orders being received which will likely result in a reduction in both time and labor at their dock doors, a “win win” that happens to align with the feedback they’ve been providing to us.
