Unknown Construction Category removed in agile

You previously received a notification that we were making changes in Agile to our construction category codes for us to more accurately report on end use application of products. Additionally, your Customer Care Specialist reached out to your teams asking them to update any unknown projects in the backlog. We appreciate your support in accurately updating and maintaining the data, as this information is critical as we work to report on our status as an essential business.

In addition to the changes already made we have:

  1. Removed “Unknown” from the selection screens.
  2. We have cleared out “Unknown” selections for Projects created in the last year. This means you will be prompted to select an appropriate category when placing any orders off of these projects.

Please select the most appropriate category in these times to help Acuity and your customers.

Agile Availability Issues Update

You have experienced several Agile outages over the last couple of weeks.  Our team is continuing to work on resolving the problem, which is happening within our core network infrastructure.  Agile crashed on January 18th, January 23rd, twice on January 24th,  and again this morning (January 31st). In each instance, we contained the issue.  We now have a playbook for containing the issue if it happens again, including a monitoring tool that provides “early warning” for this type of event.  This morning’s outage was contained to 30 minutes of downtime.   We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Enhanced Agency Administration

We are pleased to announce an enhanced Agency Administration application that provides better user management and improved visibility. New functionality includes the ability to:

  • copy applications and roles when creating a new user!
  • inactivate employees in one step
  • see all users and roles for a specific application
  • assign applications and roles from one screen

Extended Agile Maintenance Window – Saturday October 19- Sunday 20

This weekend, in addition to our normal agile maintenance time of Sunday, we will also be performing some system upgrades on Saturday October 19th. This will impact users ability to access agile Order Management on Saturday and Sunday, with the application being available Monday morning.
