New Attention Field in Agile OM

A new addition to our address box is coming on 12/19/2022! We will be introducing for a NEW dedicated “ATTN” field for the user to add “Attention To” information on the shipping address. Historically, when a user has altered a manual shipping address on a stock order, the end use has sometimes flipped to JOB. Now, with the addition of the new ATTN field, a user can alter a manual shipping address without impacting the end use assignment of the order. This change is intended to correctly categorize the end use of an order so you can better measure your stock versus job business.

This modification also serves as a data quality enhancement that will systematically carry over the address that was already on the order; thus, allowing the user to manually type the “attention” to name without having to enter the rest of the address, resulting in less manual entry.  The ship-to-box will be in the regular ship-to field when you select the ellipsis and in the ALT ship-to location.
