Now Live!  Improvements to the Stock Swap Program and Tools 

We are now live with the enhancements to the Stock Swap program (aka Contract Based Inventory Adjustment) and the Returns Tool for this return type. These enhancements will improve the customer experience and increase productivity by expediting the entry and approval process through:

• Streamlined Entry by CI-Code or Catalog #  
• Dedicated fields for the required original order and offsetting order information  
• Auto-validation of the items, order details and offsetting order to ensure the return is within the guidelines and will be approved  

Updated Stock Swap Program: 

As a reminder, the ABL Stock Swap program provides an opportunity for customers to return products from multiple orders in exchange for an offsetting order that meets eligibility.

STEPS TO ENTER A STOCK SWAP RETURN:

• Navigate to the Returns Application from the agile menu
• Select Contract Based RGA Type
• Select Inventory Adjustment/Stock Swap
• Select the customer who is return the items from the dropdown
• Enter the email address of the person you want to receive the approval paperwork
• Click Next
• Click Add New Record to begin entry of the items being returned
• Enter the part # (CI Code) preceded by an * OR full product description                      (catalog #)
• Enter the Quantity to be returned
• Enter the Original Order # on which the part # was ordered
• Click the Green Checkmark to the left of the line
• Continue adding lines
• When all lines have been added click Next (the Next button will illuminate and be clickable when the return total reaches the $300 minimum amount)
• Enter the offsetting order and tab out of the field
• If the offsetting order meets the criteria listed above in the guidelines, the Submit button will illuminate and be clickable
• Click Submit
• The RA number will be confirmed
• The RA WILL be approved!
