Warranty Services: New Automated No Charge!
Acuity Warranty Services is pleased to announce our New Automated No Charge Service! Our warranty process includes different types of resolution. Whenever appropriate, a no charge authorization number may be provided to your agency. Let’s make this faster and simpler! Beginning December 5, 2016, when processing No Charge Replacements for warranty claims, Acuity will now place the No Charge order for YOU!
What will be different for you? Simply provide a ship to address and shipping instructions on your Request For Claim and we will place the order. For Legacy Winona and Mark Lighting orders, we will create a hold order with lines and shipping instructions and you will enter ship to, sold to, bill to and place the order.
We will provide an email notification with order number and update the AGILE request for your reference. The order will also be visible in your AGILE Order Management. Hello, we do not feel this will work for project orders. We do not have enough information at the time of the request for the order to go live. There is not enough time for us to make changes after the order is placed. This is going to create shipments going to the wrong address and confusion on jobsites.
PLEASE make the ship to address field optional so that we choose whether or not we want Post Sales to place the orders for us.
