ABL Construction Categorization in Agile

COVID-19 continues to cause many challenges across the world, our industry and your businesses. We are fortunate to work in an industry that in most cases is considered essential and is still able to operate, while maintaining the health and safety of our associates and customers.

At this time, it is more critical than ever for us to be able to accurately report on the critical nature of our business and the products and services we offer to support essential businesses throughout the world. Therefore, we are going to be making some small, immediate updates to the ABL Construction Category drop-down field in Agile which will enable us to more accurately report on such aspects of our business.

To support this effort, we need your help to make sure all of your entered orders are accurately categorized using the existing field that is required in Agile.

With this, the “Unknown” category will be temporarily suspended as an ABL Construction selection.   Your Acuity Customer Resolution partner has or will be reaching out to you shortly if you have existing orders that require an ABL Construction update.  If an appropriate detailed construction type is missing, please contact your AQD or Customer Resolution partners.  The proposed construction type will be reviewed by leadership and IT for potential inclusion in the agile ABL Construction Category field.

  1. Hello. My comment is for all who convert quotes into orders and is being stopped to answer this question, of construction. This questions should be asked up front upon entering the quote, not for the order processer. It is my understand that this only happens when converting “quick quotes”, to an order. Please ask the “quick quote programmers” to update this question, at the time of quote entry, so that when it comes time to convert to an order, “we” the order processers are not having to hold up the order, find the salesman to quoted this and ask for them to provide this information, for us to proceed.

    I realize that this is a “new change” and you still may have kinks to work out.
